We honestly couldn’t have asked for a better DJ than John. I’ll admit, I can be quite particular when it comes to music, especially at weddings, and I had a very detailed list of dos and don’ts going into the day.
From the start, John was incredibly open, receptive and completely on board with our vision. Nothing was ever a problem, and he really took the time to understand exactly the kind of atmosphere we wanted to create.
What really stood out was how well he read the room. He balanced our preferences perfectly with what was working on the dance floor, and only took song requests that fit the vibe, which made such a difference. The result was a dance floor that was full all night, from start to finish.
We had everything going on, people jiving, headbanging and, yes… even a bit of slut dropping! It created such a fun, inclusive atmosphere where everyone felt involved. So many of our guests commented on how amazing the music was, with several saying it was the best they’d ever experienced at a wedding.
The biggest compliment I can give is that I don’t usually dance, it’s incredibly rare, but I didn’t leave the dance floor for hours. And I wasn’t the only one, so many people said the same.
John was also such a calming presence throughout the evening. We were quite nervous about our first dance, and he helped put us completely at ease, which made a huge difference in the moment.
We’re so grateful to have had him as part of our day. He absolutely made the evening what it was, and we would 100% recommend him to anyone looking for a DJ who truly gets it.
